Jerra's Angel Heart Fund has been busy these last few months. Here is what we have been able to accomplish thanks to the success of our last Millionaire Party in September and some donations from family and friends.

    October 18th, 2008, marked the 12th annual "Walk to Remember" at U of M in Ann Arbor, MI. Jerra's Angel Heart Fund made it possible for a family that lost their daughter in 2005 to attend the Walk by providing accommodations, food, gas & all travel expenses for the entire weekend!! Also, our family was asked to be the speakers for the event, so we had polo shirts with Jerra's Angel Heart Fund logo made to wear to the event. We also assisted several other people in being able to attend the Walk. On Sunday, Oct. 19, with the help of several other Walk to Remember families & some volunteers, we prepared a feast-sized brunch for all those staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Ann Arbor (29 families). After brunch & clean-up, we spoke with an interpreter for a woman from Iraq. The women's son has a severe bladder disease and needed financial assistance to get back home. Jerra's Angel Heart Fund assisted this family and got the ball rolling for this family to get back home.

    In November, Jerra's fund helped out a family whose little girl has severe heart issues. The family, unfortunately, has to travel out of state to earn a living and the child needed to be hospitalized, so our organization took care of travel expenses. In addition to that, a single, working mom with a child who has Autism desperately needed tires for her car so that she could continue to work & get her child where he needs to go. Jerra's Angel Heart Fund was honored to help this mother that works so hard, all on her own.
